My Birdroom |
|
My birdroom is 20 feet long by 8 feet wide at the widest point . It is of wood construction with a galvanise roof (which I will change in the future but it was cost effective at the time ) . It is fully lined but not insulated. I have installed fluorescent lighting and extraction fans also there is an oil filled radiator for heating. It basically consists of three parts PART 1. The indoor flight this measures 6 feet by 6 feet (shape of the garden controlled the size) this houses my stock birds out of the breeding season PART 2 .This is where my breeding cages are. One side has 20 cages in 4 rows of 5 the other side has 9 cages plus 2 stock cages and storage above and below (storage areas yet to be completed) PART 3. This area will eventually have my sink and storage for my show cages seed etc the shell is up and lined but as yet I havnt got the plumbing etc installed but it will be done
